SISTERDALE VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT
SVFD was established April 20, 1975. It is located in the center of Kendall County, Texas. It serves the residences of Sisterdale and the surrounding area.
Our mission is to protect life and property with courtesy and respect for the public!
We have a total of 8 SVFD fire apparatus, in addition we house and operate the Kendall County Mobile air truck in support of the other Kendall County fire departments. We have 15 volunteer firefighters that have other full time jobs and are trained and ready to respond when the need arises!
We could not do what we do without support from our community, donors and Kendal County for financial aid and volunteers. It takes time, dedication and money to maintain a safe and operational fire department.
